レコード産業は、着うたフルからスマホ向け音楽配信への移行を促すため、ガラケーからスマホへの移行した際の再ダウンロードを2012年中に限って可能にする施策を打ち出した（著作権料、原盤権料は免除）。身も蓋もないことを言えば、これはレコチョク（ついでにmora）救済策である。スマホに移行されたら思いの外レコチョク使ってくれないからテコ入れしないとね、iPhoneとかに移られても困るしね、ということだろう。

     <p>今までデバイスに音楽データを植えつけようと躍起になり、ユーザの利便性なんざ二の次だったくせに、いざデバイスごと捨てられると焦りだす、最初からわかってたことなのに何を今更…、デバイスの変化がDRMedコンテンツにどんな影響を及ぼすかほとんど理解していなかったんじゃないかとかいろいろ思うところはあるけれども</p>
